ColdFusion & Flex BuilderI recorded these three demos a while ago explaining how to do different things with the Extensions we released for ColdFusion and FlexBuilder. I thought that the extensions themselves were supposed to be up on the main ColdFusion download page, but I didn't find them.
You can get a a 30 day trial of Flex Builder 2 here The extensions will work as simple Eclipse plugins, the only thing that is Flex Builder specific is the Application Generation Wizard. It will not show up unless you have Flex Builder installed. In reference to the "(it may overlap with an existing project)" issue, can you briefly describe the steps to fix the problem? It seems people have deleted projects, reinstalled software, and reinstalled their OS to find a solution.
Is there a config file in Eclipse that can be altered? HELP!
First off, what version of FlexBuilder are you using? One of the beta versions of Moxie (FB3) has issues with the shipping versions of the plugins. These issues were fixed post ship of CF8 (as they changed their code back to the original interface), but the crux of the problem is the failure to create a project.
Do you have FB standalone or the plugin version? If you are running the plugin version, does anything show up in the error log (Help->Show View->Other, then choose error log (don't remember where it is, general?))

On my laptop, I have Eclipse 3.2.2 with Flex Builder 2.0.143459 as a plugin. I’m having the same issues on my desktop at work running Flex Builder 2 stand alone. I’d like to focus on my laptop configuration.
I’ve disabled all plugins except FB, and the CF plugin that comes with.
After running the wizard a couple of times, the following errors consistently appeared in the log. Thanks again for helping the community!!!

If you have any input into future versions of the wizard, I'd like to recommend a slight change in the way master/detail pages are handled. On the detail page, you can right-click on the join and make modifications or remove it. I'd like there to be another choice for a one to many join, right there. Sometimes the master record is supposed to be read-only, and all I want to see on the detail page is the details in a grid, not the master record again. Right now the only way to do that is select your master table again, but turn off the display for all of its column.
The wizard is a pretty nice tool, right now. I wonder what it will look like a year from now.

the problem with installing CF_FB_Extensions.zip on flex builder is that in some cases you need to uncheck the "Ignore features not applicable to this environment" box before the installation process.
